Rocket Process Insights v10.1.4, Rocket Modern Experience v10.1.4 and Rocket Process Automation (IBM i Edition) v10.1.4 expand on these capabilities by introducing error scenario detection in Process Insights, by enhancing the MX Desktop project to MX Web project conversion process and by providing enhanced security across the portfolio.

    Highlights include:

    General

    Security

    • OpenSSL has been upgraded to version 3.0.2, providing FIPS support and enhanced security.
    • The ‘Spring4Shell’ vulnerability in the Spring Framework (CVE-2022-22965) is rectified for all the products that use this Framework in this release.
    • Support for the SSH1 protocol is removed. SSH2 is the replacement of SSH1.
    • Log4j2 have been upgraded to version 2.17.2, providing enhanced security.

    Rocket MX & Automation Hub

    Installation

    • Rocket MX & Automation Hub have upgraded Apache Tomcat, the web application server included in the hub installation on Microsoft Windows Server, to version 9.0.62.

    Authentication

    • As of this release, configuring the LDAP connection now provides several options for a secure connection. You configure the LDAP authentication on the hub to connect to your LDAP server to provide domain users hub access. Additional options are now provided in the Configure LDAP window:
      • LDAP over SSL using port 636
      • (default) LDAP over TLS using port 389
      • non-secure LDAP

In earlier releases, LDAP over TLS and non-secure LDAP were the only available options.

    Rocket Process Insights

    Improved process state representation

    • Screens now show amalgamated static content to help a Process Insights analyst identify the purpose of each screen.
    • If state description is available in the display file of the host application, it will be displayed under the screen name in the application graph and process detail view.

    Error scenario detection

    • To help a Process Insights analyst identify error situations in processes, screens containing an error are now indicated with the screen name in red, followed by the text Error.
    • On the Application or Process view, hover over the screen to display the full screen name and error. The error message is also displayed in the details pane.

    Data redaction

    • To provide a Process Insights analyst the flexibility of redacting on all screens, redaction is now possible on all screens on the Application or Process view. In earlier releases, redaction was only possible on screens with sensitive data.

    Rocket Modern Experience (Web Edition)

    Workbench

MX Desktop (GUI) to MX Web project conversion

    • As of this release, project conversion results are directly displayed in a new workbench view called Conversion log.
    • Use the Conversion log view to expand or collapse log entries, apply filters of your choice, and change the presentation of the logged entries. To do this, you click the icons in the view. To focus your conversion efforts, filter the entries according to severity and priority.

    Grid column conditional visibility

    • To programmatically toggle the visibility of grid columns based on defined host fields or variable contents at runtime, visibility properties have been added to the grid column definition.

    Engines and Client

    License counting for Java clients

    • If you are a J Walk or Rocket LegaSuite customer that uses Java clients as an applet in Internet

Explorer, licenses are counted per user, not per session. When using the Java client as an application

or using Java Web Start deployment, each session used a license count. As of this release,

licenses are counted per user and maintained by the License and Message Server (LMS).

    Apache Tomcat upgrade
