Rocket has released a new version of Rocket® Eurex-c 6.1.1, our high-capacity communications system for seamless and integrated file transfer. The highlights of Rocket Eurex-c 6.1.1 include:
- OFTP2 Enhancements for Certificate Exchange – for compliance with the latest Odette OFTP2 recommendations
- PostgreSQL support – the new standard for free RDBMS support and compliance
- Security enhancements – consolidation of code for improved security, plus support for:
- OpenJDK 11.0.11 with support for TLS 1.2 and 1.3
- Tomcat 9.0.40
- Improvements to the web browser user interface
- Segregation of data directory – to separate application files and data directory. The installer now supports setting up different base directories on where to install the application and where to put the data files, so you can better manage the file systems and backups
- Removal of Swing Client – Eurex-c 6.1.1 no longer includes the legacy Java Swing-based client. (It has been replaced by the web browser user interface)
Rocket Eurex-c 6.1.1 becomes the officially supported major release of this product.

If you have a current Rocket Eurex-c maintenance agreement, simply contact your reseller or Rocket Support to upgrade your license and get this new release. If you’re using Rocket Eurex-c but don’t have an active maintenance agreement, we can help you get current. What if I am using Rocket Eurex-c 5.1.x and older?
Rocket Eurex-c 6.1.1 deprecates all earlier releases of Eurex-c 5.1.x and older. Rocket will focus on providing fixes and enhancements in Rocket Eurex-c releases after this 6.1.1 release. Rocket encourages all customers to upgrade older versions of Rocket Eurex-c to this release.
- License file version code – for installations and upgrades, make sure you have a new license file generated for Rocket Eurex-c 6.1.1.
Rocket will continue to provide support for Rocket Eurex-c 5.1.x and older versions (3.1, 4.x, 5.0.x) based on Rocket Eurex-c 5.1.2., but only on supported operating systems. Hot fixes will be applied only for Rocket Eurex-c 5.1.2 until 30th June 2022.
