Rocket Software Product Management is excited to announce the release of Rocket DevOps 10.4.0.
Rocket DevOps is a modernization platform that enables end-to-end CI/CD for IBM i+ environments. Businesses can build the structure and flexibility they need to extend holistic DevSecOps best practices to IBM i while enabling their teams to adapt to any change in process or technology.
Rocket DevOps v10.4 continues our focus on helping customers enable end-to-end CI/CD for IBM® i+ environments with a new collection of APIs that integrate with homegrown and third-party workflow solutions like ServiceNow and Zendesk.
Rocket DevOps highlights:
- DevOps core for IBM i (formerly Lifecycle Manager IBM i Edition).
- New APIs to be integrated with third-party workflow solutions to further enable enhanced automation features and additional integration possibilities with third-party and homegrown workflow solutions (requires RDOp for DevOps APIs).
- Support for RPG free converter within IBM RDi (via RDO Plugin for Eclipse).
- Improved Admin productivity through automation: New users, both local and remote developers, can be added to Rocket DevOps core for IBM i using additional commands. This provides an additional opportunity to automate administration functions.
- DevOps core for enterprise (formerly Lifecycle Manager, Enterprise Edition) now offers support for the Rocket DevOps VS Code Extension.
- DevOps test includes enhancements and bug fixes.
For a complete list of enhancements and updated system requirements, visit the release notes for each Rocket DevOps solution on our Rocket Docs Portal page [ Product: DevOps(Aldon) ] .
Ready to upgrade now? If you’re on LMi version 8.5 or later, you can move directly to RDOi version 10.4. Earlier versions will require multiple steps to upgrade. Refer to the installation guide for details. If you have a current maintenance agreement for your Rocket DevOps products, simply download the package from the community portal or visit Rocket Support to upgrade.
If you’re using a Rocket DevOps solution but don’t have an active maintenance agreement, we can help you get current. Email your account executive or fill out this form, and a Rocket representative will reach out to discuss your options.
Thank you for trusting Rocket Software with your business.
