When it comes to performance, every organization faces the same challenge: how to implement a cost-effective infrastructure that assures the productivity of all application users.

For example, you might have an existing infrastructure that includes Rocket Modern Experience Web Edition (formerly called LegaSuite Web) and want to determine whether additional Web application servers and Web engines are necessary. Or you might be implementing a new infrastructure and want to determine the number of Web application servers and Web engines to purchase.

To plan an infrastructure that provides optimal performance, you must consider many factors. Some performance factors are within your control, and others are beyond your control. For example, your organization might require security-related applications, such as anti-virus software and active firewalls. These applications, which scan network data, might significantly slow down connections and affect performance. Or your organization might implement a network that has high available bandwidth so that users experience optimal performance. Or you might implement an application that uses caching so that popular resources are reused multiple times, thereby reducing latency and network traffic.

Check out the three articles below to learn more about the various aspects of performance optimization.
