    If you operate a hybrid environment and use mainframe data in the cloud, you are probably doing this:

    1. Use FTP or some other tool to transfer mainframe generated data to cloud
    2. Your cloud native app picks its up, does some processing, say, some advanced analytics on the data.
    3. You transfer back the processed data from cloud to mainframe for further processing.

    We are investigating alternatives including being able to accomplish all of this via a single mainframe job that could interact and synchronize processing with your cloud-native app as well as enable your existing jobs to interact with cloud with minimal or no JCL changes at all!
