    All z/OpenSource languages and tools have in common the existence of a file named README.ZOS containing instructions and example commands for installation of the tool. This file is located in :

    share/doc/<toolName>/<version>/

    There are also instructions for unpacking.

    In share/doc/perl the README.ZOS file has

    • ./checkingi_perl.sh

    coded when it should be

    • ./checking_perl.sh

    I think its on line 25

    Resolved by perl-5.22.0_b0005.160429.tar.gz which is now available for download.
