 Mapping keys to non-displayable characters.

I'm having issues with some characters when connecting to different hosting servers.  With TE and z/VM 3270 my ending square bracket is mapping to x'BD' which is great and works fine....On another system, the same key is mapping to x'BB'.  In some other emulators I could map the key to a hex value, but I don't see a way to do that with TE.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
DeWayne

DeWayne,

I don't think you can map a key to a non-displayable character, but you can change the translation table.  Check your connection settings and select 3270 emulation tab.  I think you have your language set to "English (U.S.) (37)" on the one that is mapping the square brackets to x' BA' and x'BB'.  Change it to Latin 1 (1047), which maps them to x'AB' and x'BD'.
