There is now a Visual COBOL forum available on this Rocket site. I would recommend that future questions be directed to that forum.

I just downloaded the vctraining.zip file and I did not have a problem with it. What anti-virus software are you using that is flagging it as a virus?

Do you currently have the Visual COBOL product installed?

This is a prerequisite to the Learning COBOL course. Currently our Personal COBOL download site has not been transitioned to Rocket so the product is not available for download.

As an alternative, there is a free Community version of Visual COBOL available which is installed when you install the Learn COBOL extension into Visual Studio Code. Please see Learn COBOL - Visual Studio Marketplace

Yes, that is the correct link.

We are in the process of migrating the OpenText Community forums to the Rocket forums. Beginning this Thursday October 24th the OpenText Community for the AMC products will be marked read-only and we will use the Rocket Visual COBOL forum instead.  We are also in the process of moving all of the historical posts from the old site to the new. I am told that this should be done by November 11th.
