! MS Update KB3126587, KB3126593 and Uniface Anywhere compatibility February 2016

Windows Update KB3126587 and KB3126593, which Microsoft released on February 9, 2016, are incompatible with the following operating systems: Windows Server 2008 R2 Windows 7 Windows Server 2008   *4.8.2 only (not a supported platform for version 5.0) Windows Vista            *4.8.2 only (not a supported platform for version 5.0) With these two Windows updates installed, the Uniface Anywhere Application Publishing Service fails to start. Uniface is working on a fix for this incompatibility. In the meantime, KB3126587 and KB3126593 should not be installed on Uniface Anywhere hosts on the mentioned platforms. If it is installed, you can work around the incompatibility by uninstalling KB3126587 and KB3126593. The Uniface Anywhere support team.

With the release of version 5.0.0.22660 the compatibility update C01 is incorporated in the build. Therefore the compatibility update V5x64UAHost-KB3126587_KB3126593-C01.exe is been moved to the Archive folder in the downloads directory of version 5.   The Uniface Anywhere Support Team.
