Hi, I have curl 8.4.0 with z/OS 2.4 and I am getting these errors: OpenSSL SSL connect: SSL ERROR SYSCALL in connection to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:443 On the first request if failed with insufficient randomness, which points to /dev/random and /dev/random not working correctly, which led me to find out CSF was not started and the SAF resources was not defined
Hi Eduardo Rocha, Could you please provide a little more detail about the environment and the error: env | sort curl -v https://google.com curl -v your.server.here Also, such errors may occur because of SSL processing on the proxy-server side... Thanks, Alexander

Is there a guide or cheat sheet on what to do when your LMi systems are becoming mixed release? For example, we’re planning to upgrade Development (Source) to V7R4, but all the targets will still be V7R3.

Hi Everyone, We are planning to install curl on z/OS 2.2 I have a question related to curl for z/OS Is curl compatible for z/OS 2.2 , if yes, can you please let me know which version of curl is compatible to install on z/OS 2.2 Thanks Srinivas
I want to install curl on z/OS. I've used curl on other platforms and am interested to install on z/OS. I downloaded the package from the Rocket download site, I went to the readme, install, and other docs and z/OS is mentioned only in the "list of operating systems" but not as an install location. From looking through this forum, it appears that other tools are used to install this curl version on USS..z/OS? I need "For Dummies" version of where to even begin to install curl on z/OS
