We have experienced the exact same problem in 10.4.02 and still see some remaining symptoms after installing patch 33 (and higher)
UNI-28343 describes that glyphs fetched from a remote resource via userver are not shown on a form when that form is started a second time.
This has largely been fixed , except for the following types of glyphs:
- source of the glyph is a .gif file
- source of the glyph is a .ico file
In these cases you still need the 'workaround' in the asn file, as documented in UNI-28434.
We also found that with respect to .ico files it's a bit more nuanced: some do show fine the second time, others don't.
It appears that 'unloading' a glyph (in the IDE's glyph editor) that is based on an image file in ICO format, may result in either a single .BMP file, or in a two files: an .AMP and a .BMP file (An AMP file is a color adjustment curve created by Adobe Photoshop's Curves tool).
It appears that:
- a glyph based on an ICO file that unloads to an AMP and a BMP file shows fine without need for the .asn workaround,
- a glyph based on an ICO file that unloads to a single BMP file is not shown when needed a second time in the application without using the asn workaround.

Subject: issues with glypes
Hi,
We are currently upgrading from 10.3 to 10.4 version of Uniface.
And there is an issue with glypes. The glyps are shown in the first screen and in the next scren it is not visible.
We found a patch UNI-28434 (Rocket Uniface Support Resources) but the workaround is stil not working.
Have you also experienced this issue and what is the solution?
Beste regards,
Erhan Günbulut
