I'm pleased to announce the public availability of a new AI-based feature set in the Rocket documentation portal called Zoomin GPT. Zoomin GPT supports the following useful features with the goal of enabling users to succeed in finding information they need for their Rocket direct products:

• GPT-based questions and answers – select your Rocket product and ask a question (using a ?) to get a synthesized answer, which includes a link to the documentation topic source.
• Summarize – a new Summarize button at the top of every HTML page offers a concise summary of the content in the page – most useful in long topics.
• Explain this code – a button above every code block window offers an explanation of the code in the window, whether it is a CLI, script, or programming language.

This functionality has been available internally in Rocket Software for the past eight weeks and has been tested and well received. Of course, we know that AI is not perfect. Not every question will result in an answer, and each answer will have a brief disclaimer at the bottom of the window.  As part of the Zoomin platform, we have detailed analytics data that shows us the questions users ask, whether it was answered, and the exact answer provided, along with other useful data we plan to review and act on (no PII data is collected). We will also gather feedback, and additional AI-based enhancements are planned for later this year. 

This update will be announced with a banner at the top of the documentation portal page for the following month or more. The banner includes a link to a page with instructions and a short video illustrating how to use the GPT features.  If you haven't seen the other documentation portal features yet, I encourage you to check them out here.
