Do any changes to parameters of DMSETSVAL command take effect immediately?

    Hello

    I read iCluster's help info (F1 key) in 5250 session and iCluster 9.1.0 User's Guide but could not find the answer to my question above.   Are there any parameters of DMSETSVAL that need a restart of the node or group?

    Hi Satid,

    If any of the iCluster node or group definition parameters have *CLUSTER, then I believe a change using DMSETSVAL, to any of those values, would require a  restart. Changing the iCluster system values is not something that normally occurs too frequently, but I would consider restarting nodes and groups afterwards anyway.
