If you haven't done so yet, I would recommend enabling Keep Alive on the session to see if it helps with the disconnects, especially when the session is left idle. To enable Keep Alive, please go to Communication -> Setup -> Advanced tab, and check the "Enable Keep Alive" option. Set the Timer value to 1 minute and for the Keep Alive Sequence, choose either NOP or Timing Mark (depending on how the host is configured).

User sessions get disconnected and they have to sign back into the mainframe. This has happened while idle and also while actively updating a 3270 screen.

Hi Patrick,
Could you please be more specific on what you meant by "reset"? Are the user's sessions being disconnected. If so, are the sessions left idle then it disconnects, or, it is being disconnected while they are actively working within their sessions?

We have users that keep having their 3270 session, Passport PC to Host, reset. We tried downloading a new 30 day trial version with the same results. Are there any things we can try? We tried all Windows compatibility modes with no success. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

When we talk to Passport users the main driver is the ability to offer Terminal Emulation via HTML5 in a web browser, so access on any device, deploy anywhere, remote access, work from home. This is something Passport cannot do.
Passport itself is functionally rich which is why it has the user base it does. But Rocket Terminal Emulator has been the product with the development roadmap for quiet some time now. We offered webinars, demo's, presentations, etc. over the last few years (when the product was still named Rocket BlueZone) to our customers and partners to prevent the situation where they can't use specific functionality or features.
There should be ample time to upgrade with proper preparation. Even if Passport were to continue to work on Windows 11, it would still be good for existing Passport users to look into all the benefits that Rocket Terminal Emulator (desktop or Web) can deliver them.

Passport is typically Windows desktop application and doesn't have special requirement on version of Windows, so it can run on a wide range of Windows platforms. So, in theory if 11 is compatible with 10, Passport would work on 11 too. Meanwhile, we have no plan to enhance Passport on 11 specially except bugs. Let us know if you find any issue with Passport on 11.

Can you advise on the status of Windows 11 support with PC2H (Passport PC To Host). When will this be available?
Rgds.
