Hi Unifacers,

should be expected to be interactive or NOT interactive the help system provided with Uniface Development?

Interactive = opening an help page related to the current UDE/IDE functionality.

I am using it a lot without focusing on this basic functionality: just pushing F1 and searching.

Two days ago a new user asked me if she should expect to be an interactive help or not. I was remembering YES but then I've checked all my different project(s) either in U10 and U9 and in ALL cases the "Getting Started" page is opened when help is requested by F1 or through pulldown.

Just checked my UF9 environment
F1 opens the help with the page in focus releated to the "thing" I'm currently working in IDE.
And that's was I'm expecting from a help system 🙂

thanks for your quick answer.

The question is now becoming:
in a network environment installed from a single workstation, what is missing on the other workstations to have Uniface help acting in an interactive mode?
