The "Windows error 2" means that the Solid installer cannot find the JVM. Did you check if the Java bin directory is set in the Windows PATH variable? Or you could try to run the Solid setup program from the command line and specify the location of the JVM using the LAX_VM command line switch. E.g.
soliddb-6.5-w32.exe LAX_VM "C:\Program Files\Java\jre\bin\java.exe" But in case you are installing Solid from a Uniface installation medium or distribution then there should be a batch file that is using the JRE that is shipped with Uniface. Hope this helps. Daniel
