    ! Windows 10 version 1803 incompatibility

    Microsoft is expected to release a feature update for Windows 10 today, Tuesday, April 10th, via Windows Updates. This update to Windows 10, version 1803, is expected to be incompatible with Uniface Anywhere versions 5.0.2.25851 and earlier. The change to Windows 10 that causes the incompatibility with Uniface Anywhere 5.0.2.26121 and earlier does not affect older versions of Windows.   Uniface is working on a fix for this incompatibility. In the meantime, do NOT install the Windows 10 1803 update until we have released the fix.   Uniface Anywhere Technical Support.

    A fix for this incompatibility is available for download from the following location: https://download.uniface.com/downloads/UnifaceAnywhere/v5/Win10-1803/ for Uniface Anywhere Versions after 5.0.2.25556. For 64-bit UA v5.0.2.25556 Host environments download and install V5x64UAHost-update-5.0.2.b-C08.exe For installation instructions, supported host platforms and for which Uniface Anywhere version builds this patch is applicable, see the corresponding readme files (V5x64UAHost-update-5.0.2.b-C08.txt) available in the appropriate download directory. Customers who run previous versions to 5.0.2.25556, are advised to upgrade to the latest supported Uniface Anywhere Host version downloadable from https://download.uniface.com/downloads/UnifaceAnywhere/v5/ Customers who have the Uniface Anywhere Host running on Windows 10 should install this Uniface Anywhere Host Update before Windows Updates installs Windows 10 version 1803 on their Uniface Anywhere Hosts. Uniface expects that Microsoft will release the changes in Windows 10 version 1803 to Windows Server 2016 at some time in the future. Therefore, the Uniface Anywhere Host Update may be installed on Windows Server 2016, in addition to Windows 10. The change to Windows 10 that causes the incompatibility with Uniface Anywhere 5.0.2.25556 and earlier does not affect older versions of Windows.   Please note that you must have a user account to access Uniface Anywhere downloads on the Uniface Downloads site. To receive an account, you will have to register first. User accounts are currently NOT linked to other Uniface sites such as Uniface.info. The Uniface Anywhere Support Team
