My name is Qiang Lin, Principal Software Engineer. In this session, I'm going to give you a tour of the architecture of UniVerse 12.1 with regards to the all-new Recoverable File System. We will detail all of the lessons learned from RFS over a 20-year history and how we re-architected the UniVerse database into a two-process architecture for better data integrity, reliability and performance. I'll show you how to configure UniVerse RFS, highlight some of the available monitoring tools, and give a demo of how to recover a database after an outage.
