  • 1.  IDE not showing when I start it

    Hi, 

    I just finished setting up a project in Uniface 10.4 and for some reason when I start the IDE it shows me the console but when I click "ok" it won´t show the IDE.

    P.D. When I see the task manager there is an uniface process

    Hi

    Does it start if you first stop the Uniface-process?
    Try doing the following change in the ini-file

    [application]
    logotime=1 
    logosynch=on 

    This solved the same kind of problem for us last week.
    It was a common problem in Windows 8, but now solved the problem even for Windows 10.

    Hi Roger, 

    It doesn't start when I stop the ide.exe process and the change to the ini-file didn't work either.
    Also the default IDE that comes with the installation has the same issue.

    Do you have connection to the internet ?
    If you can't go outside your local environment you can try
    [PROXY_SETTINGS]
    $SERVER = 127.0.0.1


    [LOGICALS]
    DOCUMENTATION_LOCATION to chm:


    You can set $ioprint=511 and check the log file for errors.
    Insufficient permissions on folders used can also cause problems.

    This is the log results when using $ioprint=511:

    Requesting licenses from a license file.
    Using license manager Sentinel
    Loaded 'lsapiw64.dll' from C:\Usys104\common\bin\lsapiw64.dll, version: 9, 8, 0, 0048
    Loaded 'lspmgmtinit64.dll' from C:\Usys104\common\bin\lspmgmtinit64.dll, version: 9, 8, 0, 0048
    Existence check: C:\ProgramData\Uniface 10 Enterprise Edition\License\lservrc is a file.
    Existence check: is a directory.
    Existence check: is a directory.
    Existence check: is a directory.

    After checking the lservrc file it gets stuck infinitely on Existence check: is a directory.
