Hi Khai Hang,
Thank you for your enquiry. I trust that you find the following information on LMi/RDOi library useful.
Managing Libraries and Library Groups
It is not possible to add (or delete) a PDN Environment library to (from) a defined Release.
Keeping in mind that the release PDN library acts as an RDOi inventory, new Library Groups (LG) could be added to an active release but must refer to the existing PDN libraries.
The Library Group acts as an object tag that directs the object to the required Target library.
To ADD a new Library Group:
RDOi Main Menu > 13. Work with releases > 2=Change > 3. Change library groups > Type the description on the next available LG > F4=Prompt to select a Repository Library.
Note: if Exit program is used, review and change to accommodate the new LG.
To LOAD objects into the Library Group
RDOi Main Menu > 13. Work with releases > 9=Populate > 3. Load release > to load objects from the external library into one of the existing production libraries.
To Change Deployment TARGET
Of course on deploy, the new Library Group can be deployed to its equivalent target library (or any other library) or excluded from deployment.
RDOi Main Menu > 6. Deployment menu > 13. Work with target definitions >
> Specify your new library on both options
53=Change libraries and
54=Change installation mapping (The "TARGET Library" could be different to "Production Library")
Also, remember to select the new Library Group for extraction in the Deployment Profile
RDOi Main Menu > 6. Deployment menu > 14. Work with deployment profiles > 53=Change library groups
To RENAME an RDOi managed library:
NOTE: to avoid confusion, repository libraries may be renamed, such that they do not coincide with the true production library names:
RDOi Main Menu > 11. Setup menu > 12. Work with libraries > 7=Rename library
