Hello,

I have a ticket in with support on this issue but i wanted to see if anyone who uses RTE has come across this issue.  I'm running 10.1.4 and the software is being deployed via Web Deployment mode.  When the .bzlp file is downloaded and run, RTE is installed and a shortcut is installed on the desktop.  The shortcut contains one terminal emulator session and one FTP session.  Sometimes for random reasons when the shortcut is used, RTE will start up but the session manager will be blank.  As a work around i'm having users revisit the web deployment link and redownload the .bzlp file so they can re-run it.  Has anyone ever run into this issue?  It isn't something that always happens.  Sometimes users will go a whole week working normally, sometimes it happens every morning for a few days.

Tech support directed me to cluster both machines and that did fix my issue.  Initially i had 2 servers behind a load balancer and I performed the install and customization of the product on each.  Once i started having this issue they directed me to cluster the machines so i did so thinking that the old configuration on my 2nd server would be overwritten.  I was still seeing the error and decided to back up the 2nd server and then clear the configuration to get it set back to default. Once that was done i clustered the servers together and the configuration was moved over.  Now i can shut either server down and RTE is able to start up with no blank sessions.
