Thank you all for your feedback and participation in this thread.
Rocket MV is very excited for the next major release of D3, scheduled for Q2 of this year. D3 10.4.0 will be the same code base as 10.3 but now in C++. Additionally, this major release will be purely multi-threaded and certified on the most recent GA version of Linux (v9) and AIX (v7.3).
In 2022 we released SBXA/SB+ 6.5.7 with important security enhancements as well as support for Windows 11 and Server 2022.
Rocket MV will also be releasing various maintenance releases of both D3 and SBXA/SB+ throughout 2023 and we will provide regular updates on maintenance release content in the quarterly roadmap webinars.
The
MV product roadmaps are posted on the forum in conjunction with the webinars. And, you can also view the latest releases/release notes on Rocket Business Connect (
RBC) for details on each version's enhancements and fixes.

What a great response I have had from D3 users all around the world. Many of whom are still using SB+, like myself. The level of co-operation that was displayed in the responses was also significant and pleasing. So from that point of view, my suggestions of a Labour Exchange has merit.
What also came to light was the level of frustration with Rocket itself, in its lack of support/upgrades for both D3 and SB+.
So come on Rocket, do something for the myriad of loyal users who absolutely love the product and will continue to use it for as long as they can.

Hi,
I started with Pick from the days of Pertec then R83, AP, OA & D3 (both Windows & Linux... Linux preferred).
I currently use MVS Toolkit, but have absolutely no experience with SB+.
Also have developed my own REST server (running as phantoms) for D3 Linux.
Am currently fully employed, but toying with the idea of working from home.

Hi
I started with Pick R83 in 1988, got into Revelation, then UniVerse, while continuing with R83 and "Advanced Pick". Then D3 came along, and I extended the life of my "legacy" FMIS/ERP application by adding modern B2B functions.
I am available part-time or for short projects full-time. Based in a home office in New Zealand, with a high-speed network that includes a private cloud server farm. (I run all the same software and configuration as my long-term clients, so I can run tests on my systems rather than theirs.)
I am generally available at short notice for Zoom meetings. Just send me an email.
Best regards,
Alan Miles

Alex - Don't know what sort of help you're looking for, but I've got 40+ years as a Pick programmer and lots of free time.

I think we need a Labour Exchange where those looking for expertise can post their requirements and those with expertise can also post their experience and then they can contact each other.
In my case, I am looking for people with expertise in D3/Linux, SB+ and MVS Toolkit, to work on systems that are now over 30 years old and are and have been continuously updated and new projects that are being rolled out on a regular basis.
What do you all think?
