I have spent a large part of my working life acting as either a db admin and/or programmer. Databases I have administrated include Micronetics Mumps, Intersystem's Cache, GT.M, Rocket D3 and MySQL. Main programming languages used have been Pascal, C, Python, Mumps /M, Pick Basic. I recently started playing with .NET C#. I also have significant experience working with Unix / Linux systems.
