My name is Fausto Paredes, I am from Quito- Ecuador in South America, I am 45 years old, I have worked 22 years with PICK. I started programming with PICK in 1999, then I did some projects with System Builder AND Sbclient version 4 and 5. I converted Pick Systems from text mode to visual mode with the GUI by SBclient.
Three years ago I needed to migrate my Pick Systems to the cloud, the process wasn’t easy at the beginning because I had to learn a lot in a short time.
Currently my Pick Systems works with RocketD3 and MSVtoolkit, all of them are web and some are hosted on Google Cloud.
The first stage to change the systems to the cloud was to connect OPENDB with Mysql and read them through Pick programs, a process that works well, but I needed to work with two databases (MYSQL AND ROCKETD3).
The second option which I developed my systems are with ROCKETD3 as a Backend, developing API REST FULL with Mvstoolkit and Javascript as Frontend (Vue js framework).
Currently I am creating an application that connects a BOT with Dialog Flow and a Rocketd3 REST API, to make sales, orders, form registrations from WhatsApp, Telegram, Web, Facebook, Instagram and other social networks, which are intelligent BOTS and they will work 24 / 7 automatically.
This is a small summary of my work with ROCKETD3.
On the other hand, I really like sports and traveling with my family, I am a triathlete and a marathoner, I have run in the New York Marathon twice and in the Iron Man 70.3 twice as well, I like to climb mountains in my country Ecuador. My country is beautiful, it has a variety of landscapes and climates. I have reached the top of the volcanoes (El Altar, Cotopaxi, Cayambe, Iliniza) and they have been unforgettable experiences. I am very passionate about sports and programming.
