Couldn't see how to search existing discussions, so I hope this isn't a duplicate question.
We had a couple of people retire recently (we are not looking for contractors or others at this time). They still own objects in Dev Ops Core for IBMi. Is there an easy way to transfer these objects to an existing user so we can remove them from the developers and user lists?

Hi Kevin
As mentioned in your support case 01096538, and to close the loop here..
To locate and transfer objects from the retired users:
RDOi Main menu > 2. Work with objects by developer > F17= Subset to the current developer and ensure that Grp/App/Rel= *ALL > 26=Transfer* (F13 to repeat on a all entries)
Users could then either be deleted, or kept on the system as inactive (They neither occupy a license seat nor could they perform any RDOi work)
RDOi Main Menu > 11. Setup menu > 6. Work with users and user classes > 4=Delete or 2=Change LM(i) License type . . . D=None
Objects owned by a user ID within any RDOi-controlled environment would need to be addressed before that user ID's RDOi definition can be deleted
It's important to consult the "Ownership, authorities, and reference libraries" section in the Rocket DevOps core for IBM i General Topics Reference for a comprehensive understanding of how RDOi handles object ownership and authorities.
Please let us know if you have additional questions.
