I’m playing around with the vs code plug-in and have noticed some VERY odd behaviors.I’m using version 11.1.0 of the plug-in and version 10.4 of RDOi.When I right click on an item in the subset filter and select Create, it submits the compile job but I get a “davidg8 check job or spooled file failed. (Internal error).” message.  A “Error: (SSH) Channel open failure: open failed” message shows up in the output tab of the console. After that message shows up, the PRTFCREATE spool file is displayed but flickers.  If I close the terminal window, the terminal window reappears with the same spool file.  This happens for a while until it finally stops.  I tried to upload a screen capture, but the forum software won’t let me.

We were testing some new MVIS functionality, and received the follow error in the log file on some of the transactions:     “The user limit has been reached on the server”We are assuming that this has to do with U2 licenses on the test server, not an MVIS issue. Can someone confirm?

Hi allIs it possible to save a file (fx .pdf, .docx) in a vision file?Currently I copy the file to the server and creates a record in a vision file with the original file name and server file name. So, when the user need the file, I can copy the server file to the client PC.It would be easier to maintain, if I can save the file in the vision file and extract it when the user needs it,Regards Kim

I’m issuing the ESC STX ? command in two different places and am getting some results that don’t seem to be documented in the Accuterm user manual.  When I issue it from Accuterm on my PC I get the character “$” in the capabilities string that isn’t defined in the manual.  When I issue it from a webpage using Accuterm IO, I get 30 for a platform and 11 for a product.  Is there some newer documentation that I”m not aware of?

D3 Windows 10.4.0.3 was released yesterday. Not much added to 10.4.0.2, just a fix for VB6/ODBC re-connection issue. The big thing is that this release is certified on Windows 2025. This release can be downloaded from the Rocket Community Portal (RCP) as usual, but in a very short time (today Tuesday 9/22?) will also be downloadable from Rocket Business Connect (RBC).

We are trying to convert from using RDi (with Aldon) to VS Code (with Rocket DevOps extension) as our IDE. We are able to promote from our DEV to ITG but failed to promote further than that. We cannot promote from ITG to QUA (using both “Promote” and “Request to Promote”). Error is “User can only promote objects that are checked out to their own development environment.”We know that it’s not an Aldon configuration issue because our profiles (using RDi) can promote from ITG to QUA without any issue. From the Rocket DevOps documentation, “Promote” and “Request to Promote” are set to “from a development environment to the next available environment”. So we are assuming that DEV to ITG is only allowed and we have to go to Aldon when we need to promote further than ITG. Are we correct to assume this?

I am using Rocket Remote Desktop to connect to a Linux server through an SSH terminal.The terminal font size is quite small, and I would like to increase it.I checked the connection properties and found the following:Under Connection → Roles, the SSH role is not enabled and the settings are inherited, so I cannot modify them. Under Ext. Application → Connection, the configured external application is PSM SSH - %Name%. The External Application settings are also inherited. Administration → Default connection properties is disabled for my account. Right-clicking inside the SSH terminal does not display any context menu or font/settings options. I also tried Ctrl + mouse wheel, but I could not increase the terminal font size.Is there a way for an individual user to increase the font size for a PSM SSH terminal session in Rocket Remote Desktop?If the font size is controlled by the PSM SSH external application, could you please advise where this needs to be configured?

One of the security enhancements in Cypress 9.6 is TLS encryption for DDI (Direct Document Input) - the protocol Cypress uses to receive print jobs from systems such as SAP, Oracle and other enterprise applications.With TLS enabled, documents and related parameters transmitted between the DDI client and Cypress server are encrypted in transit. Cypress 9.6 also supports mutual TLS, allowing both the client and server to verify each other before the connection is established. For customers using DDI, this provides stronger protection for document data in transit and helps meet modern enterprise security requirements. Configuration is straightforward and works with the existing DDI setup by pointing it to a TLS configuration file. We’ll continue highlighting more Cypress 9.6 enhancements here over the coming weeks.

HiSBClient SBXA 6.6.2. Character mode, not GUI. We have our own menu file (CSMENUS) where we /MD to create menus with processes & programs as the menu options.For each menu option listed within the menu, I would like to add some F1 help text for the user to see when using the menu & prtessing F1 on each option.But I cannot figure out anywhere to input this or if it is possible. When pressing F1 on a menu option within a menu now I get [{MENUNAME}.REM,{POSITION}] NO HELP MESSAGE AVAILABLE.Is it possible to get to this & enter some help text?Full example:Menu file CSMENUSMenu name GE (General enquiry)/MD SetupMessage when using menu & pressing F1 currently.  I’ve searched the forum & documentation but can’t find anything.ThanksJack
