Rocket Forum Terms and Conditions

Thank you for being part of our forum. To ensure the best possible experience for all members, we have established some basic guidelines for participation.

By joining and using this forum, you agree that you have read and will follow these rules and guidelines. You also agree to reserve discussions and shared files and content to that best suited to the medium. This is a great medium with which to solicit the advice of your peers, benefit from their experience, and participate in an ongoing conversation.

Avoid promoting products or services that you may provide. The Forum is for constructive discussions related to Rocket’s products, services, and relevant industry topics; please avoid posts about politics or other unrelated sensitive subjects, and keep contributions respectful and on-topic at all times.
  • Use caution when discussing products, people or organizations. Information posted on the forum is for all to see, and comments and all other content shared are subject to laws and regulations including those related to libel, slander, and antitrust. Be thoughtful and accurate in your contributions.
  • Mind your manners. All defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal materials are strictly prohibited and will be removed.
  • Respect intellectual property rights. To maintain a collaborative, respectful, and legally compliant environment, all participants are expected to adhere to the following guidelines regarding intellectual property:
    • Post Only What You Own or Have Rights To – Share content that you have personally created or have permission to use. This includes text, images, code, documents, and multimedia.
    • Proper Attribution Is Required – If you are posting content created by someone else, ensure that you properly credit the original creator. Include the source and any relevant licensing information.
    • Indicate Reuse Restrictions Clearly – When posting items in our collaborative environment, please indicate if the item is not available for reuse.
    • Seek Permission Before Reusing Others’ Work – If you wish to reuse or repurpose content posted by another member, it’s also advisable to contact the original owner of any material if you would like to reuse for permission even if the content is publicly visible.
    • Avoid Copyright Infringement – Do not post any information or other copyrighted material (e.g., articles, images, software) unless you have the legal right to do so. This includes content from third-party websites, publications, and proprietary platforms.
    • By posting content in this forum, you represent and warrant that:

Rocket Software, Inc. does not actively monitor the site for inappropriate postings and does not on its own undertake editorial control of postings. However, in the event that any inappropriate posting is brought to the attention of Rocket Software, Inc. we will take all appropriate action.

Rocket Software, Inc. reserves the right to terminate access to any user who does not abide by these guidelines.
