We have a customer using this old version of SB+ and they want modifications to a GUI screen to add a bunch of columns to a grid.  On the character screen, the first column is a dependent mv, and the second column is the controlling mv.  The prompt sequence on the screen has the dependent properly following the controlling mv.When regenerating the GUI form from the character version, the dependent properly shows to the left of the controlling mv.  However, when modifying the form in the GUI Form Builder, the dependent shows up on the left in the form builder but is moved to the right of the controlling mv when the form is executed.Is there a way to get this to consistently display the columns in the grid according to the prompt sequence in the screen definition?A little more info: The controlling mv is a product #.  When the product # is entered, the first dependent (that we want shown before the product #) displays @CNT as a line reference.  Then the second and subsequent dependent co

Hello everyone,I am trying to set a property on Label whereby moving over the label will change the mouse pointer to a hand. When the label is clicked it launches a URL - This is working.I was hoping there was a ATGUISETPROP control to do this but I cannot find one.Has anyone got any advice how to do this?Thanks. 

There is a new file called uoj.properties that controls logging and such for UOJ 5.4.3. I read the documentation and found this new required feature. However, the UOJ code does not read the file when deployed on Apache Tomcat. Rocket Software is working on a hotfix.The problem is that the logDebugLevel is set to INFO no matter what you set the file for. Because I have background process running like batch jobs, clean up temporary files in Universe, and running BIRT print jobs in UniBasic code. Each of those processes creates a log entry meaning I create about 43,250 minimum per day in the Apache Tomcat log files. Is there a way to quickly find or navigate to a certain program by name in online editing? Search bar gives results only for the already opened programs. 

I’m trying to configure the db.mvbasic.json file for includeMapping.I’m wondering if the issue I’m having is because in our programs, our $INSERT lines do not contain the file name.  Somehow, don’t ask me how, regardless of which file the $INSERT is in, the compiler finds it and adds it.For example, here’s a typical line:     $insert ENVIRON_CONSTANTS.INS.IBASENVIRON_CONSTANTS.INS.IBAS is not contained within an actual Universe account, nor is it in the same file as the source code.  This is confusing me when configuring the includeMapping section.Here’s what I tried:I added my development account to accounts section:    "accounts": [        {            "name": "devbtr",            "path": "/home/dev/devbtr"        }    ],ENVIRON_CONSTANTS.INS.IBAS is located under /home/dev/cadsrc/INSERTIn the account devbtr, the VOC entry that points to it is CADSRC.INSERT     CADSRC.INSERT0001 F0002 /home/dev/cadsrc/INSERT0003 /uvdata/uv/D_UFD/home/dev/cadsrc is NOT a Universe account. I tried:

HI all,  I have just recently upgraded from Accuterm 7 to the latest version of Accuterm 8.1.1.1134. I am currently having an issue if I attempt to run a second instance of Accuterm, the first instance of Accuterm is displayed. I have 2 Accuterm sessions saved on my desktop, the first open fine. When the second session is selected the first session displays. In settings I have checked the option to "open sessions in a new window instead of a new tab". any suggestions would be gratefully received. thanks George.

Hi All,I am trying to download a TIFF file to my PC using FTSEND subroutine with MODE = K,O,B but the file downloaded is blacked out like below attached although with same number of bytes.Any suggestions please? 

Please be aware the Rocket MV BASIC extension for VS Code (MVVS) release v2.9.0 has a minimum requirement of JDK v17 and not v11 as suggested in the documentation. If the MVVS v2.9.0 environment has a pre-17 JDK, the extension will fail to start with pop up message:"The Rocket MV BASIC Language Server server crashed 5 times in the last 3 minutes. The server will not be restarted. See the output for more information."and"Server initialization failed". We will be releasing an update to documentation and product error handling as soon as possible. 

I know this has been around for a while but we are trying to hook this up now… We are on Unidata 8.2. We’ve been told we need Unidata 8.3 to use VS with Rocket. I am looking to validate that information, or hear that someone on 8.2 does have it working.If we can’t use this - is there another full screen editor we can use on the unidata side?Thank you for the information and your time.

Hi, Does anyone have some advise on how to optimise / fine tune MVIS response times on APIs given some latency when using OAuth?When changing the Http Auth type from basic (or even digest) to OAuth, I find my the response times on APIs increases significantly (as expected due to the additional token validation using the JWKS URL).I have response times using basic auth +-50ms going up to +-500ms on Oauth. Any idea if there are ways to cache the tokens on MVIS or other ways to fine tune this? The only solution we have for now is to bump up connection pools to increase capacity which is not that sustainable as we add more APIs to the server going forward. I have also played around with increasing timeouts and other config parameters on server and account level to delay failures on load. Or maybe something to consider for future in MVIS?Im using AzureAD as the Oauth provider. 

Hi,I develop solutions using SB+ and there are some common variables which are imported into just about every BASIC program that I have. Some examples are;       $INCLUDE DMSKELCODE COMMON      $INCLUDE DMSKELCODE STANDARD.EQU Can someone please tell me why my "INCLUDES" configuration is not working? COMMON Variables such as RECORD, WORK, CNT, USERDATA() etc are not detected and I get Errors in VSCODE such as;"Referenced undefined variable: RECORD" Please see below a redacted version of my configuration. Hello,I would like to report an issue that we have seen with this recent update to 2.8.0 version. We use Online editing mode provided by Rocket MV Basic Extension to connect to our development server and make coding changes. After the update, it seems like the existing online editing mode connection is NOT working and is NOT able to detect .rmvonline folder of existing setup.I have to reset my online editing workspace and make a fresh configuration file (servers.mvbasic.json). After this it is able to connect and work properly. Could you please confirm if this is an expected behavior for people working in Online Editing mode to work as mentioned or if this is a known issue in version 2.8.0? If this is an issue, is there any other recommend workaround or possible fix anticipated?Thanks,Sunny Garg

we are experiencing some strange reactions in Accuterm like : In a Textbox, Multiline, enabled with word wrap.   In the projects properties we have chosen the button that says “ Same as Tab, except for multiline text or command button” on the “traits” tab.    When we use some of these fields (nearly most) when we use the “RETURN BUTTON”  the field did noy simply do a line return but closed the screen down The same type of field on the first screen works ok as expected Grid boxes have problems when using Combo Fields on the first column

We are looking at trying to enhance some of our VUE apps to be more reactive with the DB.  I was wondering if MVIS supported any webhooks for VUE applications.   We have build a nodejs server that will communicate with our D3 server and watch for changes and then our VUE app will await the webhook and update the application with the changes.  The proof of concept works but I really hate adding one more server, nodejs in the mix of things that could go wrong.   We are still using the Zumasys MultiValue Dashboard interface for all our web to D3 services. I have two bp file that both exist in Github: IO.BP and WEBAPPS.BP.  I have a subroutine in WEBAPPS.BP that I am updating in vscode.  It has this include statement “$INCLUDE IO.BP IO.INS”  vscode still shows all the variables using that file as undefined variables.  I have tried adding them to the includeMapping, but it still doesn’t fix it.  Both folders exist in c:\git-workspace\IO.BP and c:\git-workspace\WEBAPPS.BP.  This is for Universe. I also tried adding the folder to the workspace. How can I fix this in vscode?
