What's New — Admin Console Enhancements, Faster Performance, and all in the new UI

We're excited to announce the release of Rocket® MultiValue Integration Server (MVIS™) 2.3.4. This release adds meaningful new administration capabilities, from in-console user management to simplified installs, alongside key fixes that improve reliability and security across your MVIS environment.

New Features

  • Manage users right from the admin console: Add and manage users with role-based access control from the Operate tab — no more editing low-level configuration to control who can do what.
  • Reset a user's password in a click: Admins can reset or force-reset anyone's password, including other admins', without deleting and recreating their account.
  • Faster logins and API calls: OAuth sign-in checks are now cached, so authenticated requests respond noticeably quicker — without giving up any security validation.
  • Simpler installs — no Python needed: Installing, upgrading, and uninstalling MVIS now just works using built-in Windows and Linux/AIX scripts, with one less prerequisite to set up.
  • Only pull back the fields you need: A new fields option lets you request just the columns you want from a data resource, and it's now built into the API documentation UI.
  • Lighter, self-monitoring containers: Docker images are smaller and now report their own health status, so you can see at a glance whether MVIS is running fine.
  • Add descriptions to your servers: Give each registered server a friendly description so it's easy to tell servers and accounts apart at a glance.
  • Clearer, safer admin console: The console no longer exposes its underlying web server details, and browsers won't try to save or autofill password fields.
