When using MV BASIC in Online mode I have not been able to open multiple programs into separate tabs.

This is a reasonably basic capability to have to support coder productivity.

Is it meant to be possible?

If so, is there a setting which controls it?

Yes, it absolutely should support multiple programs in multiple tabs.

Thanks @BobWorley

My experience (which lead to me asking this question) is that only 1 program can be opened from a file.

Attempts to open additional programs simply replace the currently open code tab.

Testing further…

If I click on one program the code is opened in a tab, and after a delay the code is recognised as Rocket BASIC and is formatted.

If I then click on another program in the tree the opened tab contents gets replaced by the new program source code.

However, if I go on a click “frenzy” and click on multiple programs in the tree one-after-another then one tab is opened, and after the detection logic and formatting is applied I can then suddenly get multiple windows.
