What's Improved
Better Diagnostics and Troubleshooting
Diagnostic output collection makes it easier to capture what the extension is doing when something doesn't behave as expected. This shortens the path to a resolution for both self-service troubleshooting and support cases.
A More Configurable Workflow
Right-click commands are now customizable and configurable, so teams can tailor the editor's context menu to the actions they use most and standardize those shortcuts across a development group.
Smarter Developer Assistance
For UniVerse and UniData, this release adds AI Copilot syntax and plugin instruction examples for MV BASIC, helping developers get more relevant, MV-aware suggestions as they write code.
Easier Code Navigation
Also for UniVerse and UniData, region collapsing lets developers fold sections of code to focus on the logic they're working on, a meaningful improvement when working with large, long-lived MV BASIC programs.
Expanded jBASE Support
File locking support has been added for jBASE environments, improving safety and predictability when multiple developers or processes work against the same files.
Improved Accuracy and Stability
A range of fixes across the extension continue to improve reliability and reduce friction in everyday development.
