Hello,

We came from the Jwalk World, it's now replaced by Legasuite, there's a way to turn on Emulator, but it's not very useful, you cannot navigate through the emulator like you can with Jwalk Emulator, do you guys have this issue?

Hi Peter,

The LegaSuite Web client does not come with an emulator out of the box; emulator functionality can added to the LegaSuite Web solution using the 'Emulator' widget on the palette in the Workbench for example. Do you know how the emulation was implemented in the solution you are using?

That's correct, I am using Emulator Widget. 

few issues I am facing.

1) We can't move it outside of the web browser
2) We cannot navigate using the emulator only.
3) On a popup, once we close the emulator, the popup webpage also closes.

Hi Peter,

As the web client is embedded in the browser, it is indeed not possible to move the window outside of the browser client area.

For the other two questions I am not sure what may be causing these problems. The emulator widget should allow all navigation. Could you please create a case for support so we can have a look at your project and see if we can investigate and give some tailored advice?

Also note that in our new LegaSuite and Material project templates in LegaSuite Web 8.5.3 we have an example on the DYNAMIC_MAIN and DYNAMIC_MAIN132 pages to add an emulator widget as overlay on the page, that can be activated with a toggle button. Maybe this would be a different approach to resolve the issues.
