I made a change to a Field Proc Program and when I wanted to move that change from DEV to INT a file I DID NOT check out appeared in my request to promote and caused the process to fail because of issues with the file source...

to get around this I checked out file and made changes to remove error and then deployed to INT and a PF and LF got moved as based on objects different from the file that tagged along in my original promote.

How do I decouple these things?

nothing in the 41 dependent objects options...not sure what is making these connections.
