For quite a while now, I have been looking to update my character base application to something more modern - more GUI. Given that, I have just a couple of questions: Is there a fee for this application? Is there documentation for this package? Will I be able to convert my character base screens into GUI? How hard is it to implement?

Hi Kevin,
There's no fee for MV Basic for VS Code and the documentation is here:
https://rocketsoftware.github.io/rocket-mvbasic/

However this extension is only for writing BASIC code not to convert current BASIC code into GUI. In terms of adopting GUI for current applications you have many options such as SBXA, UO, .NET, WebDE, wIntegrate, python etc etc. I suggest you drop a note to support@rocketsoftware.com with your details and ask for a call back from the MV team. Please let us know your current installed  database version.
