If a developer edits a component in a package and a second developer tries to edit that same component in the same package, the second developer gets the following error message: COMPONENT IN USE. It would be nice if you then press F1, that you can see the userid of the developer who is editing that component.

This is recorded in internal systems as enhancement ENH127774. It is currently under consideration for delivery in an upcoming release.
