Hi,
new user.
We have a customer who would like to look at delayed deployment using changeman. Ie. He installs a load module, once that is successful in production he would then like to distribute this to next channel, i.e. will sit on the same load library but will have different name.
So far we think the only way to do this is outside changeman, ie just a copy and name change.
We cannot use the promotion facility due to SOX constraints.
Has anyone managed to do anything similar using changeman?

Hi Linda,
How about this...
For the 'next channel', set up a new application. Stage the load module from the original application into the new application as an 'external' load with new name. This would keep everything under ChangeMan's control, and the SOX folks happy :)
