We have written some exits that call Rexx programs via the ISPEXEC interface. These Rexx programs use ISPF and TSO services and they work fine when they are invoked from the ChangeMan ISPF interface.
However, they do not work when they are invoked from XML services. Under this situation, the exits run in the started task address space instead of the user's TSO address space. I believe it has something to do with the ISPF environment being not available in the STC address space.
Has anyone done this? Please share if you do. Thanks.
Patrick

Hi Patrick,
We have played around with this using SERXMLBC, called from a Panel Exit during Approvals and have it working. The online version, SERXMLRC, required the Cman loads to be included in the user's logon proc. This only works if everyone on the lpar is working under the same version of ChangeMan....which will not work for us. The Batch Control card, XMLIN, are fed to the XML exit in stream and the output, XMLOUT, must be parsed to read the results. You can email me at janet.m.spears@us.hsbc.com if this sounds like a solution that might work for you and I can give you more info.
