We currently use stacked revere deltas to some extent as a baseline library type. In the future we will probably increase its use since we are thinking of converting Librarian ARC-masters to stacked reverse deltas.
All this works fine, however there is a small problem that I would appreciate if anybody has any thoughts about.
This is the scenario:
When we delete components in Changeman we don ́t really like to erase them physically due to audit rules concering source-code (like SRC, like CPY and so on). These "deleted" components we would like to scratch from Changeman controlled baseline libraries BUT store, along with their history, in "shadow" libraries outside of Changeman.
When using Librarian as a means of baseline storage we are able to do a utility COPY of the member and the a subsequent -DLM (if the Copy worked). The resulting "shadow" library will then be accessable by means of normal Librarian functions (batch or Elips) outside of Changeman by anybody interested to view the component.
If, however, we convert Librarian into stacked reverse deltas, how can we possibly be able to find out which versions are present in the "shadow" library that is not defined to Changeman?
What I am looking for is a batch (or ISPF invokable function) likeness of "BASELINE BROWSE/PRINT FACILITY", panel CMNBRWB0, as it is run with command "L - List libraries where component is located". This dialogue will give me a ISPF panel listing which versions of a specific member is available.
This is the information I would like to see outside of Changeman. Possibly amended with the version info that is avaliable from the panel line command S (create/change dates).
If this was available I could just execute the CMNUPDAT with Exec-parms COPY and VERSION set to my liking and then printoff the result.
Does anybody have some ideas how to make this possible?
Thank You in advance, Lars.

IIn 2005 I made a presentation at the Xchange conference regarding archiving scratched components. I will add the file to this Group. Let em know what questions you have and if it helps.
BTW, we are running ZMF 5.3.6. So the information in the presentation may be a bit out of date.
