As of ZMF 8.1 a new featur is available : User field name substitution (A.G.9). They are not replicated in ZDD and ZMF4ECL.

To me this looks like an inconsistent behaviour between interfaces.

Hi Johan, Generally changes made to these fields should be reflected in ZDD and ZMF4ECL. There is a known bug with ZDD failing to pick up the 'Requestor name' and 'Requestor phone' fields (DEF285269). This is scheduled to be resolved in 8.1.2. If you are seeing other areas in which these substitutions are not being picked up then please let us know and we will progress accordingly. Best regards, Steve

Hi Steve, Yes, after Disconnect/Connect (ZMF4ECL) and Logoff/Logon (ZDD) the changes were picked up by both interfaces So, the idea was a good idea, but it is implemented ;-) How do we close an idea? Best regards Johan

Hi Steve, I have re-opened the case. After a chat with Andreas Raschle and retesting the feature. The fields "Requestor name" and "Requestor phone" are not substituted in ZDD. In TSOF/ISPF and ZMF4ECL they are. So to my opinion this is indeed a bug and not an idea Best regards Johan
