Hi, most of my codes are still in NetExpress V3.1 and recently I bought a Core I5 Windows 10 (in SSD) laptop and I wanted to install my NetExpress V3.1 copy.

Steps that I "usually" take on my old Core I3 HDD laptop;

1.)  Edit the WRAPPER.INI and remove the "CheckIE5OrAbove=1" line and run SETUP.EXE
2.)  I usually install the Class Library and choose at least 2 ODBC drivers and it will be installed correctly with a 30-days evaluation copy

However, using my new Core I5 (with SSD).... it won't install anymore. Is there any additional configuration that I could do to install my NetExpress V3.1?? Anyone?

Net Express 3.1 went off of Extended support on December 31 2008 and at that time the only operating systems that were officially supported for it were Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000 and Windows NT 4.0.
Net Express 5.1 is still supported but has only been certified on up to Windows 7, although it should run correctly under Windows 10.
For all later operating systems Visual COBOL is the product that you should be using.
