This week I started to get this error on two of my systems - different locations so non-shared dasd:

fatal: unable to access 'https://github.com/xxxx/test.git/1: error setting certificate verify locations:
CAfile: /u/xxxx/conda/envs/git226/bin/ca-bundle.crt
CApath: none

Has something changed?  I have not updated git since 2.26 came out, nor have I updated any of the miniconda managed components.

Thanks

Hi Lionel Dyck,

What version of git do you have?
'git --version'
Is file of cert /u/xxxx/conda/envs/git226/bin/ca-bundle.crt exist and readable (cat of this file gives correct output)?
Can you also try 'GIT_CURL_VERBOSE=1 GIT_TRACE=1 git clone ....' command with your repo and some public repo as well.
Can you share the output of the 'env | sort' command also

Thanks,
Alexander

I don't know what happened to cause the problem but a co-worker reinstalled conda and git, plus more, and all is working fine now.
