Error when using ZIP to encrypt files

Trying to zip some files using the encrypt option:

DANI:/Z110S/usr/Rocket: >zip -e test “RE*.*”

zip error: Invalid command arguments (stderr is not a tty)

what’s wrong with this syntax ?
