Hi all,
We are having a problem with our Crystal reports 9.2 after upgrading/imported our system from Uniface 9.7 to 10.3.
We can not even open a form with an ocx widget connecte to the CRViewer9.CRViewer ocx.
We followed all the steps in the tutorials and everything works well except for the problem we have with our reports.
Thank you very much for your help.
Jaime.

Jaime:
We had the same problem with the Crystal 10 viewer.
This is what I have from my notes:
"The Crystal Report 10 ActiveX control is not compatible with the Windows DEP security feature. Since Uniface 9.7.05 DEP is enabled by default (this is the default for Visual C++ 2015).
Provided workaround that allows to disable DEP for the Unfiace 9.7.05 executables. But this means that the HTML widget needs be disabled (which requires that DEP is enabled).
Advised customer to replace the outdated and unsupported Crystal Report 10 ActiveX control with something that is DEP-compatible and more up-to-date."
So you could try disabling DEP for the Uniface 10.3 executables.

Hi Tim,
Thank you so much for your help. We are trying to dsable DEP but we receive this message:
This program must run with data execution protection (DEP) enabled. You can not turn off DEP for this program.
But now that we know this is a compatibility problem we will consider another solutions.
Thank you so much for your help.
Regards.
