large text fields are becoming more and more common in all applications.
It would be nice to be able to recognize where endUser is positioned in a large text field as well as to position him/her in a specific point of the text field.

Need is to have a new function $curPos() which can be used to get or to set cursor position in a specific field.
Syntax could be:
vPos = $curPos(FIELDNAME) ; to get current position
$curPos(FIELDNAME) = vPos ; to set current position

When setting a new position automatic scrolling should be taken in consideration to show the portion of text where the cursor is newly positioned.

Questions:
- Has anyone already implemented something similar?
- If NOT: could this request be taken in consideration as a wish from ULab?
