I patched to patch 026 a couple of days ago and my colleagues and I have noticed it no longer responds to Ctrl-F or Ctrl-H in the proc editor, and find and replace now require the right click menu.
This is continually catching me out, and I and winding up typing search strings into proc because Ctrl-F has not brought up the find window.
How do I get the shortcuts back? Is is an ini setting now gone missing or something else?
Regards,
Iain

I think this is what you need... Not sure why a patch would affect it though

Here's the up-to-date documentation link: [accelerators]
Generally using the installer to upgrade patch levels updates configuration files, patching with the zip doesn't.
I usually backup my installation folders then use the installer these days. The installer normally renames old configuration files, so you may find some backups you can diff with in your adm folder.

Yeah, that block has editfind as F11, which is the same as the setting from 10.3. F11 also doesn't work as a shortcut key.
Right click menu from 10.4.03.026

Right click from 10.3.

There is a new block in the usys.ini called userkeys, with entries like editor.close, but nothing on (e.g.) editor.find.
I did use the installer to update from patch 004 (where Ctrl-F worked) to patch 026... There is a backup of usys.ini dated the day I did it, but it is identical to the current one.

I found it, I searched the documentation for "IDE and find" and found
Find and Replace Strings in code
Wherein it says,
[USERKEYS]
code.search=Ctrl+F
code.searchandreplace=Ctrl+H
And when I copied those in, the accelerators re-appeared. I can only assume they previously had default behaviour which has now been removed.

This documentation Adding user-defined keyboard shortcuts in the IDE talks about the user keys you can define, and the list of supported actions does not include code.search. Not sure if there is a more up-to-date list though.

Note, I DID use the installer to update from patch 004 to 026, and these changes were not made to the usys.ini, so the function stopped working. Looks like the installer needs updating as well.

Really sorry to hear and my apologies for the discomfort. We have tested the installer changes before the patch was published and it worked fine. If we need to look at this we would require more information, my advice would be to make a support call please.
FYI: I have tested this morning if the installer works by installing patch 10.4.03-004 and upgrade it to 10.4.03-026.
The [userkeys] section in the uniface/adm/usys.ini file is updated as expected.
