Hello,

we use a list as an input parameter (type string) to call a function in Postgre via SSP. While testing I found out that the list has a length limit of 254 characters. If I call the function direct in pgAdmin much longer strings can used as parameter.

Is this this a known limitation? Is there a setting to raise this limit?

TiA!

Kind regards

Hello,

here is the solution I found out today: In the ODBC driver settings under Options/Datasource/Advanced Options (1/3) is in the area Miscellaneous the setting "Max Varchar:". The original values was 255. After extend to 8190, everything works fine.

Kind regards
