UNI-30285 - Windows OS version info in startup banner not up-to-date
Solution available in patch(es): 10.3.03-026, 10.4.02-005
Description:
Uniface creates a [startup] banner at the beginning of the log file that includes (amongst other info) the OS version. On Windows this info is outdated and newer Windows versions (like e.g. Windows 11, Windows Server 2019 and 2022) are not correctly recognized. And for Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016 the specified build version is always 0, which is not correct.

UNI-28433 - Hover over transcript window icon causes Uniface/IDE to crash
Solution available in patch(es): 10.3.03-026, 10.4.02-005
Description:
When hovering the cursor over the transcript window icon in the Windows taskbar, the open Uniface or IDE instance crashes, in the Window 64 bit version.
Reproduction scenario:
Start 64-bit Uniface 10.4.01 IDE and move the cursor to the icon of the transcript window on the Windows taskbar in the top left corner.
Result:
Uniface crashes.
Environment:

UNI-28120 - umsgutil.exe - fixed issue with crash after receiving response.
Solution available in patch(es): 10.3.03-026, 10.4.02-005
Description:
When sending a message using umgsutil.exe, the application crashes at closing down. The actual message is delivered correctly, however, as of patch 10.3.03.006 the process actually crashes (access violation) when ending the process.

UNI-21494 - IDE not responding anymore after 0126 illegal syntax format error for new name
Solution available in patch(es): 10.3.03-026, 10.4.02-005
Description:
When entering an invalid name for an UDO object (e.g. Project name) then the IDE will not respond anymore after the error popup "0126 illegal syntax format error for new name" is shown and the user tries to change the focus.
Reproduction scenario
1. Open an Uniface development Object like for example a project
2. Change the name to something invalid like a name containing a space
This is violating naming rules for Uniface development objects
3. After the 0126 illegal syntax format error reported by the IDE
click somewhere in the IDE or press enter and click somewhere in the IDE
Expected Result
Focus in IDE back to the field where the name must be entered until a valid name is entered.

Actual Result
IDE not responding anymore.
Task manager is needed to end the session.

UNI-6621 - Changing component type of FRM/RPT makes the layout disappear without warning
Solution available in patch(es): 10.3.03-026, 10.4.02-005
Description:
When the component type of a form or report is changed to something else its layout is lost. Converting back to form/report will only generate a default, basic layout, but the previous one cannot be recovered.

Workaround:
There is no workaround.
Notes:
A warning message is displayed to warn the user.
