We recently upgraded our primary contract management system to a new version running on Uniface 10.3.2.4. We have been live since the 23rd July and have seen a huge increase in the number of Uniface sessions which are hanging/crashing on the Windows servers.
Server Spec
Windows 2019
8CPU, 20Gb Ram
Oracle Client 19c 32Bit
Uniface 10.3.2.4
Application distributed via Citrix
DB Repository is Oracle 19c on Solaris 11
User sessions run 'ok' but many people see session freezes and some see crashes. On the servers we are seeing MiniDump files being created for some users. The dump files can be huge and often fill the local drives meaning a constant battle to keep the servers running.
on server 1 there is 149 since go live
on server 2 there is 168 since go live
on server 3 there is 156 since go live
Example dumps
This far we have not been able to pinpoint the issue and we are running our of alternative methods to trace/debug it. Are there any Uniface tools or other tools that we could use to better debug what is going on with these servers?
