Hi,
Is it possible to see before installation, which version of VC++ redistributable is installed with a Uniface distribution, using eg. swinuf10403004w32.exe to install/update Uniface?

    Hi Roger,

    the structure behind all Uniface product distribution and patches is stable since a good amount of time.

    The executable file containing a Uniface distribution could be opened with a compressed file manager; if you do that you can find the following files:
    - common (folder)
    - uniface (folder)
    - install_vc_redist.bat (file)
    - p10403000w32.txt (file)
    - vcredist_x86.exe (file)

    Your question is about this last file: vcredist_x86.exe; you should extract it and analyze it.
    After the extraction clikking on the file extracted with right mouse button you should select "Properties"; a new tabbed window is showing.
    In the tab "General" ("Generale" for me in Italian) at 3rd line you should read something that in my case (Distribution 10.4.03.000) is:
    Description: Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x86) - 14.40.33810
    If you need ALL techical details are in tab "Details" ("Dettagli" for me in Italian)

    great explanation. Actually I didn't understand that the the executable file containing a Uniface distribution could be opened with a compressed file manager.
