  • Uniface UX widgets support IN parameters for trigger and webtrigger
    UX widgets can now pass scalar type parameters to triggers and webtriggers. For more information, see the Uniface documentation: Uniface Reference > API Reference > APIs: DSP UX Widget Class > mapTrigger.

Description:

No compiler error is given when 'public web' is encountered in system triggers, which can lead to undefined behavior when the triggers are called directly from a widget's event mapping.

Environment:

+Uniface: Version 10.x
+Operating System: ALL
+Database: ALL

Workaround:

None.

Notes:

This problem has been fixed.

If a system trigger is defined with the 'public web' qualifier, the Uniface component will fail to compile and display an error message:
"error:   1000 - Public web access is not permitted for system triggers."
